Annika Hurwitt Schahn, Ph.D. has been coaching people since 1987, and specializes in empowering women to become more confident, effective leaders in business. She works with the Three Principles of Human Development that were discovered in the 1970’s by Sydney Banks. Annika uses this principle-based approach to help women re-connect with their innate capacity for using wisdom and common sense in the business environment, for knowing and trusting their gut instincts and decision making abilities, and for being creative, innovative leaders who bring out the best in others. Annika is Founder and President of The Center for Optimal Living, which provides coaching, seminars and training (www.optimaliving.net). She is adjunct staff with Pransky and Associates in La Conner, WA and with Lesley University in Boston, MA. She is a Board-Certified Psychotherapist with Diplomat Status. Annika lives on Martha’s Vineyard, MA with her husband and daughter.
